With protests raging on across the country over police conduct , many law enforcement agencies are looking into equipping their officers with body cameras to improve transparency. Houston Police Department will be arming more than 5000 officers with body cameras for $7 million. Is this pricetag worth it and will video help in allegations of misconduct or will it create more questions than answers, as it has in recent cases like Eric Garner in New York?

In this day and age, cameras are everywhere, whether police have them or not. The real question becomes will having cameras change behavior?
