The Texas Supreme Court has upheld the divorce of a same sex couple in Texas. The couple were married in Massachusetts in 2004 and sought a divorce in Austin. The court ruled that the State lacks standing to interfere with the divorce but the decision has no impact on Texas’ gay marriage ban.
